Test method

There are no officially stipulated testing methods for gases, particularly malodorous ones. Therefore, the measurements were carried out in accordance with the measurement method published by the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo, which appeared in the Environmental Technology Reprint Series issued by the Environmental Technology Research Association.
The sample weight is 80g. The products from each company for dynamic testing were used as-is, and the cumulative adsorption capacity was converted based on sample weight.
A transparent rectangular box was created from acrylic with a width of 50 cm, a depth of 50 cm, and a height of 60 cm, giving an internal volume of 0.15 cubic metres. Sampling and gas injection taps were fitted to the central part, and a small fan for agitation was installed at the bottom.
The cumulative adsorption capacity was determined by first injecting the target gas into the test apparatus and adjusting the concentration to 100 ppm. The adsorption rate was measured by monitoring the concentration over time. The adsorption amount
